Meet Beth Fuson
Beth Fuson is the Founder and Executive Director of Pathways College Advising. In her various roles as an administrator at Georgetown, George Washington, and Catholic Universities, Beth noticed the alarming trend of young adults graduating from college and graduate school with crippling amounts of educational debt that ultimately limited their future opportunities. This realization led her to move to "the other side of the desk" and begin work as a private college admission and financial aid advisor attempting to help families decide how to wisely choose colleges that are academically, socially, and financially a good "fit" for students. She has more than 15 years of work experience in college admissions, financial aid, academic advising, and campus recruiting. Beth holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in College and University Administration from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC) as well as the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Beth resides in the Olney, Maryland area, just outside of Washington, DC. Her practice serves clients from the greater Washington, DC area including Montgomery and Howard Counties in Maryland, as well as, assisting students around the country. Beth is able to meet with students and their families via Skype, Zoom and other video conferencing platforms.
